Spring is sprung... er - sort of....
Yesterday I was all excited because the sun was shining and the birds were singing and the bees were trying to have sex with them... as is my understanding. So I decided to haul out some Spring makeup and put it in a basket in the bathroom where I would be able to reach for something pretty and Springy every day. Then today I woke up and it was all grey and horrible again, and it's going to be that way for the rest of the week. Oh well, I'm wearing my Spring makeup anyway. So ner to you, rainclouds!
So for no reason at all, here are some pics of what's in that there basket. What do you think, Springy enough?

beautiful fresh colours, i see you have a lovely collection of everyday minerals. I love mineral makeup when the weather gets warmer xx
ReplyDeleteOh My! Such lovely colours, I love pinks and purples :)
ReplyDeleteThose colours are so beautiful, it's inspired me to get out my spring make-up too.
ReplyDeleteNice pink theme going on there :)
ReplyDeleteIn the 1st pic - what are the 2 pots of what look to be like cream eye shadows? One is beige white & the other a dusky pink? I'm curious!
Gorgeous! Wow, what a collection of fresh and pretty spring coloured products! I'm in love! (and envious!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the lovely comments, everyone. Now get your Spring colours out! :-D
ReplyDeleteMelbournite, those are Benefit Creaseless Cream eyeshadows. The cream one (which has a slight yellow tint) is Tattle Tale, and the browny-pinkish one is RSVP, which I wore today. They're a bit like MAC paint pots, I guess. I love them!
Cheers! So - do they need a primer underneath & don't crease with or without? I'm so lazy (or running late) I just use Urban Decay sin primer as my eye shadow a lot of the time ! Must investigate the MAC paint pots too now...
ReplyDeleteReading these blogs is dangerous to my bank account.
I don't use a primer with them - in fact, I sometimes use them as a primer themselves. I haven't had any trouble with them creasing at all. I use them quite a lot on their own when I'm in a hurry, like you with UD Sin. :-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm pretty sure that Stefanie from The Lip Print talks about them a bit (and also MAC paint pots) in this video:
