Pure Luxe and Sassy Minerals

I've been doing an inventory of my makeup and skincare products over the last week or so, and it turns out that I currently own 185 loose eyeshadow products (mostly minerals, but not all). In my defence, about 75% of them are samples, or technically samples (Everyday Minerals used to do samples that were almost the same size as some other companies' full sizes). Now comes the crazy part...

Swatches: Pure Luxe eyeshadows

This is another order that I did ages ago and they finally turned up last week. The main thing I liked was that they came in jars instead of baggies. I don't get as annoyed by baggies as some people, but I do prefer jars. And unlike The She Space, these were all tightly wrapped up, with the lids on snugly. Good packaging, Pure Luxe!

These were all swatched dry over BeneFit Lemon Aid primer. I love the colours, but the powder is so fine that it goes EVERYWHERE. I wouldn't wear these during the week because I wouldn't have the time to clean up the powdery mess on my face before work. You can see some of the spatters in the photographs, even though I rigorously tapped the brush before applying the swatches.

The one good thing about ordering from companies that take AGES to ship is that you get so excited when they finally turn up. Today I received some more eyeshadows from The She Space. Again, not wrapped tightly enough so the lids were loose and some of one spilled, thankfully only a tiny bit this time. But seriously, TSS - get your act together with the packaging. Jeez.

That said, I do love these colours!
