FINALLY

Well, after five weeks and some boring drama with me attempting to get some kind of compensatory rent reduction from my landlady for the crap I have had to put up with (I won - ha!), I finally have a nice new bathroom, kitchen and laundry. There was no change to the structure of any of the rooms, which is why I'm annoyed that it took so long - basically they just pulled out the old scuzzy fittings and put new ones in.

I cannot believe that I forgot to take "before" photos. You'll just have to take my word for it. The laundry was a dark, dingy cupboard with a horrible old stainless steel sink that was so grotty I never even touched it. The bathroom had orange floor tiles and NO cupboards whatsoever. The kitchen.. well, I did manage to find a sort-of pic of that.

Dingy fake wood cabinets and shelves, just all around blah. 


It was hard for me to take proper photos as all of the rooms are quite small, so it's a bit piecemeal. There's no way of getting back far enough to take in the entire room.
