If you build it, they will come.

Ever since I moved blogs I've only been getting a few hits a day (and weirdly tons still on my old blog, despite the fact that I had removed most of the posts). However, after spending all afternoon yesterday swatching my entire NYX collection and posting the pics, I suddenly have hundreds of hits. Obviously I am not the only person out there who is constantly on the hunt for NYX swatches that are more realistic than the hideous ones on websites like Cherry Culture and Nonpareil.

As personally appointed NYX Ambassador of Australia*, I would like to thank you for checking out my blog, and I'm pleased to know that all of those hours spent painting Noodle Arms' freakishly long limbs and then taking pictures and editing them has not been in vain (she was paid in chocolate eggs).

*This is a totally made-up title. I have no affiliation with NYX, I'm just a fan.

EDIT: Apparently I have Dazzledust25 to thank for the sudden rush in traffic. Thanks, Amy! :-)

  4. Who knew twitter was useful! I've had it for ages as my LA friend wanted me to get it, and she's my only follower...but now I can use it to FINALLY follow you!! lol

And I guess since I had to sign up to livejournal to comment on here, I should start blogging as well!! My makeup stash has grown considerably because of you and J!!!

  6. Twitter is brilliant for pimping things. My nephew has a business and a mention at Twitter always gets it a few hits.
It's because you can #hashtag topics of interest.
    I highly recommend it.
