Shopping in Melbourne

Just look at those. Aren't they the most beautiful shoes ever? This is the reason I wanted to go shopping in Melbourne. If I could afford it, I would have bought a pair in every available colour.

Aside from the shoes, I came home with surprisingly little. I was very excited to have a look at Kit Cosmetics and Mecca Cosmetica in Myer, as we don't have those in Adelaide (well, there is a Mecca Cosmetica but it's nowhere near me), but.... nothing really grabbed me. I'm planning on a Melbourne trip in October, so I might make some time to have a really long, good look around then.

However, I did get a couple of issues of UK Marie Claire - my favourite ever magazine - from Mag Nation, which is a cool shop but not a patch on the sadly gone McGills.
I also bought some hand cream at L'Occitane, as well as a little tube of cuticle cream and a scented candle (now that I am able to use them without someone whinging about the smell). They had a little GWP going on as well, so I got a free gift.

The incense is not my thing - a bit too fruity for my taste - but Noodle Arms loved the scent so I'm sure she will make use of them.

Oh, and I must make mention of The Little Cupcake Shop, where I had the most gorgeous red velvet cupcake. (I don't like using the word cupcake - it's so American, but that's the way we go these days... *sigh*.) They have these teeny cakes that are just the right size for a little nibble. Lovely!
