As you may be aware, I'm not a big fan of lip gloss, mostly because of my intense dislike of All Things Sticky. However, as glosses go, Maybelline Color Sensational Creme Gloss is quite nice. I was sent one to review for the Beauty Heaven trial team, in the colour Hooked on Pink. It actually looks more berry than pink, with fine gold shimmer through it.
It doesn't last long, but no gloss ever does on me, so I don't mind having to reapply frequently - particularly because it's not a sticky gloss. The scent is pleasantly fruity, and it doesn't really have much of a taste. If, like me, you've stayed away from lip gloss because of the general gooiness of many formulas, this is one you might like. Having said that, I find it very similar to NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss, and they're way cheaper.
I did take some photos but the swatch one came out really badly - the weather here is overcast and blah. I'll show you anyway!

ReplyDeleteI'm definitely not going shopping for those if they are similar to the NYX ones which are HG for me - I might as well wait for a sale on cherry culture and keep expanding my NYX Gloss collection instead :)
That looks like a beautiful colour. I was checking these glosses out in Priceline last week and wondering what they were like, think I'll skip them and try NYX instead.
ReplyDeleteI thought the colour was gorgeous, until I saw that they were similar to the NYX but more expensive...It's a pity NYX doesn't have a similar colour.
