I used a Sassy Minerals colour called Vixen, and I didn't bother making up my eye properly, so DON'T JUDGE ME. I just applied the primer/s and slapped some colour on the top.
Detrivore alone.
Detrivore alone after about 6 hours.
Detrivore with UDPP underneath.
Detrivore with UDPP underneath after about 6 hours.
As you can see, although there is creasing on both, there's a pretty big difference. So to get the best out of the loose shadows, it's a two step process. UDPP (or similar) first to prevent fading and (most) creasing, and Detrivore (or similar) to bring out the colour of the eyeshadow.
And now we know!
Gosh, it's so hard for the oily-lided amongst us. The things we do... ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat review Dee.
It's hard knowing which eye primer does what- great roadtest!
ReplyDeleteVery clever! I have never used two primers at once!
ReplyDeleteVixen looks so pretty. I have some Sassy minerals on the way. I wish Vixen was in it!
Good idea, never tried using two primers either!
ReplyDeletegreat test. queen of creasing here and i'll have to consider giving this a try.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post! This is such a helpful one that clearly demonstrates the ability of both products so well, absolutely no room for bias <3
