Favourite Perfumes of 2010

Vivienne Westwood Boudoir
I reviewed Boudoir here, so I won't say too much about it, except that I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.

Fendi Theorema
It's just my luck to stumble upon something so gorgeous when it's been well and truly discontinued. This is a warm, slightly old-fashioned oriental with notes of musk, oakwood, sandalwood, vanilla, jasmine and amber. I wore at least once a week throughout the colder months this year.

Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidée Vanille
Ridonkulously expensive at $200AUD for 75ml, but I waited until I got my tax return before coughing up the cash (tax returns don't count as proper money). Prior to that I just walked into David Jones about three times a week and doused myself in it. I consider it payback for the constant hovering of their annoying perfume counter SAs when I'm in there trying to look at things.

Flourish Almond Milk Perfume Oil
I say it smells like a baby's head. Someone on Twitter (either Tine or Emily, I can't remember) says it smells like a  Barbie's head. I can see where that comes from. I have been slathering myself with this regularly over the last couple of months, and thanks to Stefanie, who first notified the rest of us of its existence, so did many other people.

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Womb Furie
When I read back over my review of this, I feel a bit creepy and weird.

  8. the best perfume for me would be the one with good scent and not too strong to my sense of smell.
